Japanese made 'High Wall' single shot falling block rifle chambered in .45-70 Government, manufactured circa 1991 by Miroku. Imported by Browning Arms Co. out of Morgan UT. Featuring a high polish blued finish, a 28" octagonal barrel, recessed crown, adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, dovetailed blade front sight, exposed hammer, checkered hammer spur, wide serrated curved gold-toned trigger, and selectable shell deflector behind hammer. The fancy figured urethane finished walnut furniture consists of straight grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, a checkered schnabel forend, sling stud in the bottom of the buttstock, sling stud in the forend, and a checkered solid rubber Browning recoil pad with black spacer giving this rifle a 13 3/58" LOP. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the action is smooth and crisp. The original blued finish retained is approximately 99% with little remarkable to speak of. Furniture wood is excellent with only superficial blemishes. This rifle comes with the original factory cardboard box.
